On Saturday morning at 11.30am in Uffculme there is a charity football match being staged to raise money for Uffculme Primary School. Culm United Reserves are staging their annual Veterans v Whippersnappers encounter at Magelake Meadow. Always a big game, so why not come on down and support the teams? The Whippersnappers will be fielding lads with an age range from 16 to 25, whilst the Veterans will try to last the pace with several 40+ and 50+ year old has-beens! Will youth triumph over experience? Why not spend the day with us at Magelake to discover the answer?

After the match there'll be a presentation of the fabulous Nick Miles Trophy to the winning team by Sarah Evans, the acting headmistress of the primary school.

Afterwards we retire to the club for further fund-raising. We'll be doing this with an auction of football-related items contributed by clubs up and down the country (as listed above). They'll also be raffle tickets for sale and a special draw to guess the time of the 1st goal scored in the FA Cup Final. £1 a go from numbers 1-90.
